If you wish to contact us regarding a donation request, please note that we receive many worthy charitable requests each week. As members of the community, we do find it very difficult to decline such worthy requests.  As a small business however, it is incredibly hard to support each and every request that comes our way.  Our business simply could not sustain saying 'yes' to every request that comesour way.  We therefore decided some time ago to direct our support to three very important causes that each mean something very special to Nellie personally and to the business.

Relish Mama proudly supports CanTeen, Second Bite & The Salvation Army.

CanTeen supports young people when cancer turns their world upside down and helps them cope with the physical, emotional and practical impact of living with cancer themselves or having a family member diagnosed with cancer.  For me it is so important to support young people at this time of great uncertainty.  Relish Mama  takes great pride in teaching the next generation the life skill of cooking and in addition to our financial contributions we also have had the honour of hosting cooking classes for CanTeen students. For this reason we have chosen to support an organisation that also recognises the value of nurturing and supporting young people during times of crisis.

SecondBite exists to provide access to fresh, nutritious food for people in need across Australia. They do this by rescuing and redistributing surplus fresh food, building community capacity in food skills and nutrition and advocating for an end to food insecurity.  As a strong proponent of the nourishing quality of food not only on the body but on the soul, SecondBite sits very comfortably with my values.

The Salvation Army's mission to meet human needs without discrimination led me to establishing a connection with them to donate surplus food from our cooking classes.
